Our pool was brand new last spring, and the pool builder neglected to balance the water properly when we first filled it. So we were left with a lot of white/grey mottling on dark blue plaster. You can see it here:
I treated the pool with an acid bath and some Jacks #2, and that made a HUGE improvement. The color is much more even. But now, instead of white/grey mottling, there are a few spots that are darker than the neutral color, and that appears to be where the blue plaster has not been eroded enough to expose the quartz aggregate. Is there an easy way to fix that without draining and acid washing?
