Cya 40, fc 5, ph 7.8, ch 60, ta 80, cc I guess 0. When I did the cc test the water didn't turn pink again so I'm assuming that means cc is 0.
My ta was 110 all summer and my ph was steady at 7.5 and I was using liquid chlorine from Walmart. Since the end of August I've been using gv laundry bleach and my ph keeps going up to at least 8 maybe higher. Every week I have to add like 18 to 24 oz. Of muriatic acid to bring it back down and my ta is now 80. Nobody has swam in the pool since the middle of September. I don't know why my ph is messing up. It was good all summer.

Are you adding fill water now that you were not earlier?

I looked up Great Value Laundry Bleach and it states disinfects and deodorizer. The contents does not call out the ingredients but if it has any type of fragrance that could be a possible cause. Have you tried to go to a pool store to purchase LC? Normally that would have 10 or12% sodium hypochlorite.
Also have you tested your fill water? It is always good to know what affect that may have on pool chemistry or if you have had a lot of rain that can influence pool chemistry as well.

No pink after adding 5 drops on your CC test means zero CC.

This doesn't have any fragrance in it.

Pool store here in mount pleasant doesn't sell liquid chlorine. It's a small town. I would have to drive a good 35 minutes to the next store and I'm not sure if they sell it. I switched from the store brand to the Clorox a couple of days ago. I don't know if that will help.

Clorox has Cloromax. Doubt it creating your pH issue, but Clorox specifically stated to a member a couple years ago it is NOT appropriate for use in a pool. It most likely has polymers in it.

Your TA as shown in your Poolmath data is typically 100 or higher. Thus your pool water will naturally increase in pH as to achieve equilibrium with that TA. Allow your TA to fall to 70 or even below and it will allow the pH to stabilize better.

Keep letting it come down. The pH seeks balance with the TA. Outgassing of CO2 increases the pH. Also do not lower pH below 7.6 when adding acid.

If you have Aldi, They sell chlorine, I believe 3.2%. I used it a couple of years ago with good success. Here in the Houston Metropolitan area, going to any place to any other place, it takes about 30 minutes or so. So your commute does seem excessive!
