I have an older TropiCal T135 heat pump that still runs great and I am not planning to replace it yet. It does not have a low-voltage control hookup.
I am planning to install Pentair Intellicenter. What would be the best way to integrate the heat pump? Would I put it on one of the relays?

I am sure you can.

Have you called Aquacal and asked for...

Connecting External Controllers: See document entitled Connecting External Controllers to
AquaCal Heat Pumps. These instructions are shipped inside heater accompanying the electrical
schematic.

The IntelliCenter will not control heater temperature through a high voltage relay. And HP do not like AC power being yanked from it without a controlled shutdown.

Connecting External Controllers to AquaCal Heat Pumps is attached to this message.

Have a look at it.

I think this member did the same thing connecting an Aquacal to a Hayward OmniPL...
