Pentair Intellicenter - MasterTemp Communication Lost

Folks -

I have a relatively new pool - 1 year old.

Automation is a Pentair IntelliCenter i10PSIC60 and we have a MasterTemp 400K and IntelliChlor.

This week I've been getting a lot of notifications.

MasterTemp Communication Lost & occasionally IntelliChlor communication lost.



As far as I can tell - there's no impact on any functionality - the Spa/Heater and Chlorinator work fine.

Tried to call Pentair support, I gave up after 1 hour on hold.

Any ideas why this is happening and how I can get it resolved ?

Does your MasterTemp have a five button keypad or six button keypad?

If you are comfortable opening up the panel and showing us a pic of the CBs and wiring in it and flip down the top panel and show a pic of the low voltage wiring.

Yeah, comfortable opening up the devices. Not sure what CBs are.

CBs are the circuit breaker. Open up the lower panel and show pics of the high voltage wiring.

You have the older model Mastertemp that does not have the RS-485 connection so it is connected using the firemans switch to J2 on the upper board. Without the RS-485 link I don’t know what communication link the IC is complaining about.
