Suggestions on best install location?Pump 1 or 2? I also use ScreenLogic automation.
Pump 1 -main pump for spa and heater with gas heater and heat pump I use for both heat and cool. The existing BioShield 45 gpm UV system does not have to stay but might as well keep as it has new bulb. Also runs west end skimmer in floor cleaners in spa, Baja shelf and steps.
Pump 2 - second pump runs east end skimmer and in floor cleaners in pool.
As you can see lots more re-plumbing room on pump 2. Pump 2 is wired as a slave to pump 1 so they both run together. I run 19 hrs a day to avoid AZ local power surcharge 3 to 8 pm.
Thanks in advance. I am relatively new to TFP and forum and can not think you enough for your assistance. Your PoolMath program for chemistry management has been a real break through for me and I have been running for several months with it’s recommendation for manual CL and acid addition. Will follow recommendations for SWG when installed. I will also likely install CO2 injection on pump 2 in future if I find it necessary after SWG install.

If both pumps run all the time, pick the one easiest to install. Only downside is it is nice to have the SWCG in operation when using the spa. The automation will reduce its generation level when in spa mode.
