Pentair Dynamo - Broken Toggle Switch

First time posting, but this forum has saved me so many times! Thank you all for the great knowledge you've shared.

Quick question - I have a Pentair Dynamo (115V, 1.5hp, Model #340210) and the on/off toggle switch has broken off with the pump in the off position. I have found replacements online (all 4-5+ day shipping), but my wife is having a pool party this weekend and it is turning green already even with extra chlorine and brushing. I would like to know if it is possible to either jump start the pump or bypass the toggle switch and just unplug the pump to turn it off. Or could I buy a timer in a store to use instead of the toggle switch? Looking mainly for a short-term solution to get the pool clean asap, but something that gives me the option to turn the pump off automatically in the future would be nice (bypass the toggle switch and plug into a smart outlet or use a timer), as well.

Appreciate the help!

Welcome to TFP.

Yes it can be done. But you need to know a bit about electrical wiring to do it safely. If you need to ask how to do it then safety is a concern. Find an electrician friend to McGyver the pump.
