We're in the process of having a pool built in the Austin, TX area. I really love the modern/clean look of darker blue pool water (more lake blue than Caribbean blue). To achieve my ideal aesthetic, our pool designer has recommended Turtle Bay or Ocean Blue from Pebble Tec, with the caveat that darker plaster colors will be warmer in the heat of the summer. My question is, how much warmer? I've done some Google research but haven't been able to find a real consensus. Does anyone living in a similar climate have a pool with either of these colors and willing to share your experience? I've attached a picture from my Pool Pinterest board.
