Hey guys - county inspector was on site today. Our electrician placed breaker box directly behind equipment pad attached to our siding (about 2' from equipment). Inspection failed because of this. I did not get a chance to talk to the inspector. Anyone have idea why box can't be behind pad? Already hole in wall for the box so it's a shame. Thx

Do you have to climb over the equipment to get the box? If so, I think that would be the reason.

Yeah that is what I was thinking too. Electrician moved box to one side of pad - hopefully that passes. The inspector did not leave good directions so we'll see!
