This was our pool back in around 1965. The driver was on his way home from a SCUBA lesson at the Y and had his flippers and everything in the car. LOL! He got t-boned at the intersection across from our corner lot and came crashing through the fence! Luckily no one was in the pool at the time!

I love all the people standing around...I wonder what they are saying. "What do we do now?!?" :)

Wow!
That reminded me, my first house with a pool was separated from the road only from a cedar fence. I had thoughts from time to time, what if a car ever crashes through here?
My home now with a pool, They would have to drive through my house to get it in the pool. much betta lol

Not sure about the guys in white. They were either ambulance or tow truck. In the picture with two guys sitting, that was my dad getting info from the driver. He was unhurt as well. Pool had to be replastered so for a few weeks while waiting for that, it became a skateboard park. LOL!
