We haven’t been to the California grill in years now. Weeks after they reopened reimagined 11 of us went. 11 of us didn’t like our meal. We used to eat there every trip. Haven’t been back since. I heard it was good again. We have to give it another go. They used to have the best bbq filet.

A hanger steak, also known as butcher's steak, is a cut of beef steak prized for its flavor. Derived from the diaphragm of a steer or heifer, it typically weighs about 450 to 675 grams (1 to 1 1⁄2 pounds). This cut is taken from the plate, which is the upper belly of the animal.
Take the rich flavor of rib-eye steak—cross it with melt-in-your-mouth beef tenderloin, and what do you get? Hanger steak, a tasty cut of beef that hangs from the diaphragm of the cow along the plate, or lower belly. Because this muscle does very little work, it’s extremely tender and packed with beef flavor.

What the frig is hangar steak? Is it like flank steak?
