When opening my pool in the future I have decided to just replace and lube all drain plug o-rings. Was wondering how important it is to get the specific o-ring listed in the parts manual or if I could just go to the hardware store and get an o-ring that is similar in size and fits the drain plug. Any reason to obsess about getting the manufacturer's specified part?
