So i put in a lot of new gear and started getting intermittent flow sensor errors….. i bought a new flow sensor and popped it in….. solid red light….
i came to the board and saw someone suggest shorting and testing ….. so i did that with the pump running and got my flashing signal…. So the sensor was indeed good…. The one i had taken out….
What i realized was that i have a Tristar variable….. and the flow sensor will not work at the lower rates…..
so this is an FYI for everyone …… if you have a variable speed pump …. Make sure the flow is heavy enough so you get a close on the circuit!!
