No CC, but loosing 1.5 fc overnite

I am in the process of a slam since I am loosing 1.5 ppm on the OCLT but before I started I had a reading of 0 on the CC. So my question is is it possible to have algae consuming fc while no reading on cc? All other levels are in range with a cya of 90.

Yes. CC of zero is not an indicator of no algae in the pool. CC is from the oxidation of ammonia based compounds in the water.

With a CYA of 90, the SLAM Process is difficult to be successful.
