We are currently getting started building a pool. We are looking at 28 x 40 “L” shape with a Max depth of about 6 feet. Building a pretty basic pool but want to know the pitfalls. We are not doing anything fancy but just something that has good bones.
1. PB wants to use Sentry pool walls. Is this a good company?
2. How thick should the liner be?
3. Should I put a jet on the stairs? (Getting old and it might be nice on my back.)
4. What other things should I be considering?
5. Should we go with one big light or 3 smaller lights?

Welcome to TFP.

27 mils should be the minimum liner thickness and 30 mils is better.

Jet on the stairs may not make a big difference in keeping the steps clean.

What type of lighsta re you considering? Look at the nicehless LED lights that fit in standard 1.5" fittings.
