I am Brent thanks for adding me to this site. I live in Florida with my wife and daughter, pools in my opinion are a necessity down here, im glad this site exists to help with problems that may arise.

Welcome aboard! We're further south and on the Atlantic side of Florida. Couldn't agree more, we swim most days year round! TFP methods are different than you'll hear about at the pool store. But they work great and are the most cost effective way there is by far. One of the best aspects of this site is that we sell absolutely nothing. So all you get here is straight-up advice from experts and enthusiasts - never conflicted by wanting to sell you expensive potions or equipment you don't need. We've been getting dirt cheap generic chemicals from big box stores instead of pool stores since joining this site over 5 years ago and our pool is the envy of neighbors that use expensive pool services and "free test" based pool store advice.
May I suggest that you add your signature? It gets the basic info about your pool and equipment added at the bottom of each entry you make. This saves our volunteer experts time to get answers to you quickly. Here's how to do it.
