New to testing - 1st test

Been lurking here quite a while and finally got a TF-100 kit for Father's Day. Pool looks and feels great, but using Pool Math page, seems to be off a bit.

Readings:
Size=18,000
FC=3
pH=8.2+ (used 8.6 in Pool Math)
TA=370
CH=100
CYA=60
Salt=3100
Temp=86

Goals:
FC=4
pH=7.5
TA=80
CH=400
CYA=75

From these numbers and reading the forum, it looks like I should first concentrate on FC and pH. I need to add 37oz of 6% bleach and 141oz of 31.45%-20° Baumé muriatic acid.

I can do that together in the evening and let the pool run overnight?

Comments? Suggestions?

Hi and welcome to TFP :) congrats on a great test kit

If water is crystal clear, you might need to raise chlorine by a bit, you could add some bleach to get that done quickly or increase your SWG % or run time. But based on those numbers, I'd be focusing on my PH first and foremost. I'd target 7.2 with a TA that high and continue to stay on top of that PH. I'm less familiar with the CH needs in a plaster pool but understand you'd want that closer to 400.
