We recently bought a house in Southwest Florida that has a pool. Yeah! Never before have we owned or maintained a pool. Spent $6000 on a new pump/heater as suggested by our property manager. We're Snowbirds so we listened. It's great when we can get the pool up to a 82*F so we're happy with that. Just arrived in our Happy Place been here a week. Saturday (tonight) and last Sunday between 1:45 & 4:30 (approx) there is a constant dull knocking coming from it (very noticeable as it's right outside our bedroom window. Of course there's nothing in the booklets that we have here.
Any suggestions?

Welcome to TFP :)

See if the concrete pad is touching the house.. if it is the pump is transferring the vibrations to your bedroom wall or window... fun huh... if it is not it still may be transferring the vibrations..

You can turn your pump off at night, that is the easiest way to stop it... No need to run your pump 24/7.. speaking of that, did you get a VS pump and what RPM are you running it at?
