New to pool pump maintenance

Power was off briefly yesterday for scheduled generator maintenance.(after daily pool pump schedule) Do I need to reset my pool pump? I have a Pentair Intelliflo Variable Speed Programmable Pump.

Welcome to the forum!
Are you using the pump scheduler or do you have an automation system?
Either way, the schedule should have been saved and the pump should operate as planned.
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry.

Previously I used the the pump scheduler, I believe. The pump did not come on this morning at it's scheduled time. Power is on to the pump and I did a quick clean, but not sure if schedule was saved prior to power outage. I ask because my display screen is very dim and it is very hard to see to reset anything.

OK -- It may have lost the battery backup capability. You say you cannot see the screen anymore?

Might start budgeting for a new pump -----
