How many gallons will your pool be?

Test your fill water for pH & TA.

You need liquid chlorine for 2-4 pm per day, stabilizer to raise CYA to 30-40, some MA to adjust pH. PoolMath can give you quantities based on pool gallons.

For 25,000 gallons you will need around 1 gallon of 10% liquid chlorine per day.

You will also need about 2 of the 4 lb jugs of cyanuric acid.

Maybe 2-4 gallons of muriatic acid.

You may need some small amounts of Borax (1-2 boxes) and Baking Soda (1 bag should be enough).

That's it

Tiger,

In my area the cheapest source of liquid chlorine is Leslie's refillable 2.5 gal jugs. They have coupons all the time at $8.88 for two jugs (5 gal). So over time I bought four of the jugs so I could always get the sale price. The jug prices have gone up but you can still get them online at reasonable price. If you can find a place that refills the jugs it is usually by far the best price.

I hope this helps.

Chris

Figure out a way to aerate your water after the fill to raise the pH into the 7's.
