New Scaling problem.

I have a saltwater pool that about two months ago started to accumulate flakes at bottom. I vacuumed it all up and then cleaned both the SWG and the filter but it didn’t solve the problem. I then replaced half the water. I have a lot of scaling now and I have not had for a couple of years. I know the key is balanced PH and TA. Should I lower my PH below 7.5? Here are my numbers, any help is appreciated.

Pebble Tec Saltwater 14,500 gallons
PH: 7.5
TA: 80
CH: 425
CYA: 60

In Poolmath you should track CSI. Keep it between 0 and -0.3. The Poolmath logs you are sharing just show chemical additions. Recording your water chemistry test results really will help you over time and us when you ask chemistry questions.

Thanks for your reply. I have also noticed the logs are not keeping the levels but I can’t seem to find the setting that makes PoolMath do that. What am I missing? Thanks again.

A thousand thanks. I’ve been using this app for a couple years and find out now I’ve not been using it correctly.

I’ll track my CSI for awhile and see what difference I notice.
