So I got mine and it’s mounted up. My electrician friend, wanted to reroute some things in my shed, so he mounted it up. My installer is going to need to hook everything up. I’m converting to salt, so I got the plus4w. Also, we’ve installed two ColorLogic 320 to replace my single old fiber optic light and I’m upgrading my old super pump to a Super PumpVS. So, it will be interesting to see how all the systems work together. Attached a couple photos of cell and box and one of my pool for good measure. New liner installed this year as well.

That looks great. The box is definitely bigger looking than I thought, but makes sense since it's basically one-stop-shopping for your whole system. Are there specs on the dimensions of the box?
My old single speed is starting to rattle and in California it's pulling maybe $100 in electric a month so I'm probably going to go with the VS at the same time.
Did you figure out the difference between the VS models? For 230V I see a SP2670020VSP with no price listed and a W3SP2603VSP listed at $929 but the descriptions read the same to me.

They are the same pump sold through different channels with different warranties.
The SP model is sold through builders with a longer warranty then the W3SP model which is sold retail.

So just an update here:
System went online a couple weeks ago, but my installer had an issue getting the new VS to work. So after some trouble shooting, turns out some dip switches weren’t set right and Hayward instructions were not entirely clear on things. But figured that out and finally got the pump plumbed and wired last night. Also, this gave me some time to really dig around in the panel for how things are set up and the system is really pretty good and has a lot of room for ya expansion. I think the system is really good if you need an automation system and want internet control. I think it’s just evolution of the OmniLogic control, and it in a slightly more condensed package. It can handle everything you may throw at it and has options for that as you may expand your entire pool system. My only grip maybe not having enough spaces for breakers, but between splits and possibly a sub panel it should be fine.
Now that I know my way around I am probably going to move my landscape lights over to the system from my little transformer with a timer. And as I think down the road about possibly doing a spill spa, I like knowing it will be able to easily handle that expansion. Still have to finish the lights, but we seem to have that figured out are just waiting on another fixture to show up.

So glad I found this post! Talking with my builder about the automation system for our new build he told me that the only way we could do all of what we want with the old system would be much more expensive than this system, and that this one has much better functionality. Only downside is that there is a 4 week wait time to get it here, but I expect we will still be trying to get the pool finished in 4 weeks anyway.
One of the things I am most excited about with this setup is the lighting controls and light shows. Have you finished your yet? Got any pics or video yet?

Following. We just had our pool finished 2 weeks ago and PB installed the Aqua Connect system. I absolutely hate the interface and app. You cannot set any schedules other than the pool pump that I can tell. I am waiting on him to give me a price to take this Crud out and install the OmniPL.

Ours with the T-15 salt system, valve actuators, installed and wired to the router was $2800. I have not been able to find pricing on it anywhere to know if that was a good deal or not.
I have a PB wanting 4K for the AquaRite 940 with the Omni hub control. Three deck jets, a colorlogic light, and VSP would be connected.

I thought that would have been my best option until I ran across the OmniPL. Thanks for sharing your cost so that I know what is fair when I try to push for Omni next year, the PB keeps pushing Prologic.

I am connecting two waterfalls, one bubble, pool light, spa light, SWCG, and two VSPs. We will be able to control pool/spa mode and all of the water features individually.
Thanks again for the info! $2800 seems pretty good to me for the number of things being connected, based on the post from tylerpenn with the poytech price and the hayward blog below that states installation would start at $500 for an Omnihub.

Do it. We have Aquaconnect for our one year old pool. Crappy interface, super annoying. I wish I had known to ask for something better.
PB quoted me $2950 for the system, does that sound right to everyone? I saw above cheaper pricing.

This is just a little over what we are being quoted for our system, but I have no idea if we are getting a good deal. Every system is a little different setup with the actuators and other options, so it is really hard to compare. Also, it seems like labor prices vary alot from one region to another. I have been really surprised at the different prices on some of the posts from around the country.
The PB will add a mark up on both the equipment and labor, but they do all the setup and config and you'll get the longer warranty. Presumably they'll also be on the hook if something isn't working right and have to come back to fix it or help w/ programming. That's worth the premium to a lot of people, but if your budget is tight it's also possible to add the automation later. As others have noted in these forums, since demand for pools is high at the moment PB's are in the driving seat when negotiating prices.

New build: has anyone ever taken the basic in equipment and then swapped it out with better right away?
I'm looking at a new build and want to use a VS pump (Pentair intelliflow), IC60 salt cell, and possibly Suntouch solar controller. The builder will install these for a markup as expected but I can get them much cheaper myself. Any reason not to? I would have no problem with the plumbing or...

We are still waiting on another 360 to install, but I do have one of them up and running. Photos are from a swim tonight. I like I can keep one color and adjust brightness. Haven’t messed around with creating light shows but have used the pre-programmed shows which are great. Being able to adjust the speed of the show is great. Current setup is a single 360 LED from the side of the pool. One photo that shows the coping I think is 60% brightness and the other is 100%.
Heater was hooked up two weeks ago. Only disappointment is that all references for installation of the heater control (even for the OmniLogic) only reference a two wire install when a three wire install is available with a Hayward heater, which I have. Three wire setup is only referenced on the heater installation guide but never brought up on the automation side. Only really matters if you have a spa and pool, but frustrating from a future proofing standpoint.
Everything from what I hear is on back order. I think the week after I got my PL my installer said he went to order another and they were back ordered already.

Also, I asked about the remote since my equipment is at least 20 feet from the house, and Hayward said you can splice in Cat6 and you'll be good to go. I wonder if the warranty is affected though.

Ours was the same thing, the builder had to get a different electrician that knew how to wire the three wire setup for the heater.
Our builder said there was no way to get a longer cord for the wall mount and had to order a separate wall mount controller that could be mounted farther from the pad. Thankfully it was at builder expense because he had stated that the controls would be on the patio, the other controller was $350.
