New Pool - Tampa, FL - All Done

Pool shell is all done...interesting that the concrete was able to set completely submerged under water...the sub left an utter mess....PB coming Mon or Tues to clean up, remove forms and backfill...plumbing is scheduled for Thursday

Lot clean up and plumbing rough in...poor crew worked in the rain and dodged lightning bolts all day but did a stellar job! Inspection tomorrow hopefully....and at the rate it’s raining we’re likely to have a full pool before coping is even installed...

Been almost 7 days of rain outs...copious amounts of rain have nearly filled the pool half way...tile and coping crew have been here 3 days and been rained out two of them so far...if we can get a break maybe we get some progress

Our waterline tile is below and is paired with bull nose travertine in Roman color

Grotto water fall and 7 boulders install started today. We went with Rico Rocks for everything because the boss/wife preferred it. One boulder will be submerged in the sun shelf, two will be stacked by space and the others will be spread.

Cool. I love the Boulder on the sun shelf.. 👍

Are they giving you any kind of lights in the grotto? Back lighting the falls gives a very impressive look. I also have lights that just light up the interior of the Grotto that gives a kind of Erie cave look at night.

Awesome. I love that. We have one LED light in the bench nook under the waterfall. It points out into the pool, I wish now we would have pointed it up. We will see how it looks once all is said and done.

Well, that's the important one. Just be sure it is on its own switch. You will only want that one on when the falls are on or else you might see the reflection of it in the pool when things are still. It looks like they will be adding more rock to go down to the water line. If they could put a additional light in there to up light that back rock of the Grotto you could get that Erie cave look..
