New pool owner

Hi everyone,

I'm Priten and I moved in with my fiancé to a detached house in Oct 2020. We have an above ground pool (60K litters). We have a sand based filter which holds about 68 KGs (150 lbs) of sand. Having to own and maintain a pool for the first time was/is challenging and everyday seems like a battle.

Learnt a lot in the past few days about how to best maintain the pool so that is it sparkling clean but it is not that easy to be honest.

I am currently dealing with a couple of pool issues and I stumbled upon TFP and decided to create an account.

Hoping to know you guys better and learn from you all.

It’s a lot to take in at first. The worst part is undoing any bad advice / habits that got you here. None of us old dogs like new tricks. Believe me you are not alone and every last one of us feels you.
