Hello all I just set up a above ground round pool 18Ft by 48 inch deep. According to calculators I found it’s a 7,630 gallon pool. I added my first treatment of chlorine and checked my pool level today. My PH seems good but my Chlorine level was around 0.4 PPM. How do I find out how much more chlorine I need to get up to 1 PPM? Also how long after adding chlorine do I need to wait to check levels/or swim? Thanks!

Welcome to TFP! If you use the PoolMath APP, it has a section "Effects of Adding" that will help tell you how much of a product to add. Remember new water has no stabilizer (CYA) so you'll want at least 30 ppm of that as well. Also be sure to use the link below to help guide you.
