New Pool Owner - San Diego California

Hello!

New pool owner here in SD, California!

My pool is quite large - 50x26 tile with a salt water generator, VSP, and a large Pentair QUAD DE 100 filter.

Currently i have a pool guy that comes by once a week but I’m hopeful that once I get my feet under me I’ll take over the pool duties after gaining an understanding pool chem, maintenance, etc.

Looking forward to being in this group and gaining some info.

I will highly recommend investing in a good test kit. You can check out test kits compared You can't go wrong with either but you have to get one of them. Once you realize how easy it is to test your own water and only add the chemicals that your pool needs, there is no need to a pool service. You can do this.
