Hi all,

I'm getting ready to sign a contract for a gunite pool and would appreciate any comments/suggestions that I should bring up with the PB to clarify/add to the contract before signing. I just don't want to be at their mercy for extra costs involved with any change orders after signing.
14' x 28', includes a sun shelf that measures 6' x10' (c/w bubbler)
Two 12" high pedestals each with a 24" sheer descent
Hayward Tristar VS950 variable speed pump
Hayward C200S cartridge filter
Auto Pilot salt system
One Hayward Universal ColorLogic LED light for main the section, two Colorlogic LED lights for the sun shelf.
PebbleTec finish
No pool heater for now but gas is available.

Comments on the equipment?
Are there any items that others wished they had included?
Sorry, this will be our first pool so although I've definitely gained some knowledge from this site I know I still have much to learn.

Thanks.

Welcome to TFP.

Get a larger filter. Florida builders seem to always put in small filters. Get a 400-500 sq ft cartridge filter.

Why the Autopilot instead of Hayward Aquarite SWG?

Any automation?

Specify no ball valves, all valves shall be diverter type.

Have the equipment pad large enough and the proper place for a gas heater.

How many skimmers? How many returns?
