Hey Folks, Wife and I started planning a pool build at the beginning of June. After many quotes from builders, some crazy (like really crazy, enough to almost sway us from building a pool), some not even interested, we finally found an awesome builder and signed a contract on June 27th for a 14 x 30 IG with Pebble interior and concrete decking with Hayward equipment. Pics include a sketch of the proposed pool design, colors for tile, plaster and decking. Thanks for looking and following along with our journey. Happy swimming!

So what are the depths of this pool? I also did not see any steps or benches. Need the details please!

Hi! Stressful, yes. Fun, for sure! ~4ft to 6ft. Build is finished....more pics to come!
Excavation time! Dig started on 7/8/20. They did hit a very, very small amount of water. Must have been a fluke as it never came up again after the dig and placing rock over it.

Forming footers and rebar. No screen enclosure for now but in case we ever decide we want one, these were poured.

Good idea to plan ahead now for just in case down the road! LOVE how you used the tile on point on the steps! Nice touch!
I think that if we didn't put that tile there, the steps would be invisible and we certainly don't want any injuries.
