Ordered a new liner today. With lead times on liners, it is entirely possible that the liner will come in, and the installer will not have the weather to do the install. Any suggestions on what should be done? Can the liner be stored over winter and installed in spring? Any recommendations would be welcome.

Liners are best installed when the temps are a bit warm so it will be more pliable and take to the pool contours. I can't seem to find one reason you couldn't store it indoors the way it was shipped but call the supplier and they can answer best. One thing does come to mind is we've had members ordering a liner only to find out the wrong size was was shipped as they were installing it. Not sure how that would play itself out if you realized next season that you couldn't use it or there was a damage, would there be any recourse......

You can store the liner. Just keep it up off the floor from nice or something trying to nest in it. When you get it, call the manufacturer who sent it and tell them to notate your acct that you recieved the liner and due to weather, it can not be opened for installation and if it's to small, ask them if you can return it for another one that will fit. That should cover you there.
