We are traveling for spring break so thankfully the camera is rolling and my neighbor took photos. Looks like rebar was finished today and we have plumbing going in:

Gunite almost done. They need to set posts for arbor first and they also missed adding bench along back wall. So, once steel crew comes back and forms bench and once steel beams are in, they will be back to finish the kitchen area and bench.

Had to send nasty gram to our pool designer. The plans on site do not match the most updated plans which has caused multiple issues and delays. Yesterday and today they worked on gas lines but will back tomorrow to run an additional gas line for the power burner in the kitchen. If I didn't have so much going on at work I would be more on these guys. Video is boring today.

It would be a shame if a freak wind storm came in overnight and blew away those outdated plans on your job site.

Painful delays. We have progress today with plumbing finished and equipment in place. My BIL had his pool dug last week and is at same position but without gunite. Insane.

When is your tile and coping scheduled?

We are currently waiting on steel posts for kitchen structure. 3 months after dig (when “ordered”) we still don’t have them. Until they are set the gunite crew can’t return. Which means the masons can’t start. Electricians are supposedly scheduled for Friday. Once that is done we are waiting on steel posts and Gunite. I’m hosed.

Spoke to owner of pool builder. Sounds like engineering of kitchen structure came back needing larger posts which is the delay. He says they are in route and should know before the weekend when they will be scheduled for install.

Electric is scheduled for Friday and masons are on schedule for next week. I guess they can do coping and tile along with feature wall while we wait for steel posts and gunite?
