Moved from here.

New to the pool forum, and have concerns. Once we set up our 16x48 Intex pool we took the readings. EVERYTHING was low! We added ph plus, waited an hour, nothing
Since then we have yet to get a good reading of any if the chemicals. Please help, thanks.

Welcome to the forum!
How are you testing your pool water chemistry? What exactly have you added to the pool so far?
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry.

With your volume pool (5000 gallons?) you need a proper test kit. I suggest the TF-100 A proper test kit is needed to get the accurate water chemistry results needed to follow the TFP protocols.

I suggest you add 3 ppm FC worth of liquid chlorine each day until you get your test kit. That would be about 3 cups per day of 10%. You can get that at Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, etc.

Once you get your test kit, post your results here and we can guide you further.
