Timer is on, SWCG is on, but pump is not running. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot? What is the lifespan on these pumps?

Check to make sure a breaker isn't tripped. Do you hear any buzzing when trying to turn on the pump? In my case, my pump motor needs to have the start/run capacitor replaced once a year or every other year. It's a simple fix if that's the case. Generally the motor will hum but not start if the capacitor is bad.
Yes, breaker is on, not tripped. I actually just turned it on again and it seemed like it wanted to start, but stopped. I also found a sort of PVC trim, looks like it was sheared off, almost like large washer, trying to figure out how to post pictures here.
Turned out to be the flux capacitor. Went to the store picked one up, replaced and she's purring like a kitten. Thank you for the insight.
