Need CMP skimmer basket!

I'm having a tough time finding the right oem basket for my CMP skimmers. I bought the below which are perfect in every way except they have a flat edge on opposite sides which creates a gap in my skimmer allowing debris in.

Any leads appreciated!!

No clue the model but I am 99% sure it is CMP. The baskets I linked above are 99.9999% perfect and identical to what I have in every way except they have that flat spot that allows debris to pass through.

CMP makes copies of other manufacturer's products.

The baskets above are copies of Waterway baskets.

You just need the diameter of the top to find the right basket.

Again, the basket is 99.99999999% correct. All dimensions are perfect. The only issue is those flat spots.

Showing the wrong baskets is not going to do much good.

I think that the first one might have the flat sides and the second one does not.

There isn't a part #. Just "CMP" stamped on the lid.

The catalog shows part number 25140-000-900 for the basket.

The Waterway basket has cut sides because the Waterway skimmer has a locking mechanism where you insert the basket and then rotate to lock.

CMP part number 25100-000-900 is listed as "H" style, which I think means cut sides.

If the CMP skimmer does not use the locking mechanism, then I would think that the 25140-000-900 basket would not have cut sides.

In any case, just measure the diameter of the skimmer basket support lip in the skimmer, which I think is 8-1/4", which means that the Hayward SPX1070E or the Sta-Rite SwimQuip 08650-0007 U-3 Replacement Skimmer Basket should work.

Based on the top dimensions, the Hayward or U3 basket should work.
