We just put our pool in, and the pool company put a nice automatic pump on the cover for when it rains. They put a long hose on it and ran it down our wall and out to where it can drain. Has anyone basically run the hose into a drain like a buried downspout would have? I’m thinking that might be a nice way to avoid having to drag out a big hose.

Our cover pump, The Little Giant, has a spout on it that arches the water off the cover several feet from the pool.

Interesting. I have the same pump, but I don’t have the spray accessory. That seems like an interesting idea!
Ultimately I think I like the idea of determining where the water goes. Does anyone route the hose off yours to a drain?
