I have a customer who has both a VS pump and a Polaris booster pump connected to an Intermatic P135ME timer. She has removed the Polaris cleaner from her system in favor of a robot. Now that she's removed the cleaner, she says when she tries to run her system, the booster pump "sounds like it's gonna blow up." Is there a way to disable the booster pump within the settings of the timer, or does the booster pump need to be completely disconnected from power?

C,

VS pumps should be connected to constant power.. Why in the world would someone wire a VS pump through a timer? The pump should have its own built in timer/control panel..

If she no longer uses the booster pump, I would just disconnect the pump from the power altogether.

Thanks,

Jim R.
