Lower cc without a SLAM

I completed my first SLAM last Tuesday. At the time the cc were 0. They stayed 0 for several days. Now they are just under .5. How can I lower the cc without doing another SLAM? Seems I shouldn't have to SLAM again. The water looks great. It is probably the clearest it has ever been. We just started the TFP method this summer.
I have some Fresh and Clear from Leslie Pools that we used to use. Would it lower the CC level?

Ignore .5 cc. As good as zero.

.5 is still good. So that you know once your a committed TFP member you need to leave Leslie's out of the equation.

When using the pool there will always be some CC created, when chlorine attacks organics like sweat, pee, etc. Your FC will deal with these low levels of CC.
