Has anyone attempted to use the Pentair Intellichlor tank w/pump independent of the Intellichem system? I'm investigating ways to get the LC into the pool without manual addition.
Our PB wouldn't install a SWCG. I guess it's a Texas thing. I panned on using a chlorine injection and bought all the parts during the pool build. I used this thread as a template. Stenner pump for chlorine. Help with sizing and install ideas
The parts list is on post #4.
If you have the Intellichem tank and pump, you can certainly use it, but it would be a lot more economical to buy a complete Stenner system. You can DIY all of it using a peristaltic pump of your choice and a drum/car boy, or you can buy a tank and pump already assembled, or you can use what you have and buy what you need.
If you ever plan on using that feeder again it's not safe to plumb the injection into it. Just keep in mind that someone could add tablets to the feeder if at some time you're not available for some reason.
