Leaking at thumb screws on bottom of main pump cleanout

Have a small leak coming from the screw on the bottom of the unit. The pool guy redid seals, gaskets etc and none of that is wet. The little thumb type white screw thing at bottom in the middle seems to be where it is leaking. Any idea on best way to proceed. Thanks.

The pump may be cracked from over tightening the drain plug or the threads are stripped...

Stripped drain plug on pool pump housing

So yeah, I did this. I guess it's actually on the pool pump basket itself, not really the housing. Anyone successfully fix this? Because another PP housing is like $250 and I've already bought it once before.

That is a drain port for winterizing the pump. It has an oring. Turn the power off to the pump, unscrew it, and get an oring to match from a hardware store.

They are about 4 bucks each to replace and they come with a new o-ring. Providing they pump housing isn’t stripped it will solve the problem. I didn’t look up yours specifically but here is one as an example. Hayward Drain Plug and Gasket SPX4000FG

What's the date on the sticker on the front of the pump?

Are you sure that the leak is not from the seal?
