Larger pump on Intex 12" sand filter

Hello,

I have a 16" Intex sand filter and the tank which holds the sand is starting to fail at the seam. I have been given a 12" Intex sand filter and was wondering if anyone sees any issues using the more powerful pump which came with my 16" filter on with the 12" tank?

I’m thinking not, but hopefully someone more knowledgeable about equipment will comment.

You can try it. If the pressure is too high, then you know it will not work.
