And I have to say that the results are not that far off what what Leslie's reported in my last in-store test.

Not sure if there's a way to display my test results from the app directly into a post, but here they are:

FC 6.0
CC 0.5
pH 7.3
TA 70
CH 240
CYA 40
Temp 84F

CH and pH are a little low, but that CC is right on the cusp of being a problem, yes?

My water is clear, but I have algae forming on the walls. Not mustard or black - just the "normal" green algae. My cartridge filters are overdue for a cleaning, which I am sure is not helping.

SLAM definitely required after cleaning the filters? Or should I clean the filters and try just a normal weekly shock? I still am unsure as to when you need to SLAM vs. weekly shock.

Please and thank you.

TFPC does not recommend weekly 'shock'. You maintain your FC based on your CYA, FC/CYA Chart
If you have visible algae, you follow the SLAM Process
