Hello,
As username suggests I have the Hayward AQR100 system in our pool. The family performs maintenance, and I want to learn about troubleshooting and fixing the AQR100.

We finished our pool just at pandemic set in, March 2020. The entire family loves the pool and it is a focal point in our yard.

I found the troubleshooting advice available about the AQR100 salt cell system so far online to be insufficient. For instance I have not been able to find the pin set for the cable from the system to the cell. We are getting the 8th light blinking, we found in the manual that indicates " no current to cell".

I assume that is electrical current, and want to use a multimeter to see if the cable is bad or the cell is bad.

Where can I find the pin set for the salt cell cable so I can test with multimeter?

I look forward to learning more about my system throught this forum!

Keep swimming 🏊‍♂️

1. Remove power to the AQR100 for two minutes and then re-apply.
2. Inspect the cable that connects the cell to the system.
Make sure the cable is secure and undamaged.
3. Turn on Super Chlorinate briefly and go back to original setting.
4. Inspect the Cell Vessel and verify the cell plates are fully covered by moving water.
