We have a Pool/Spa system which came with the house we purchased. Up until recently we were using a Jandy PDA to set up schedules, configure pump speeds and heat settings and turn equipment on and off. Said PDA has now died so naturally we need to either replace it with another crappy PDA or possibly move into the 21st century and perform those functions from our phones.
I've been trying to understand the wild world of pool automation but holy cow it's confusing. Do we have an RS system? It kinda almost looks like we do (from the way the control box appears - it matches up with the RS not PDA Power Center diagram) but then there's the board that clearly says PDAPS6, which says PDA.
So our question is: how close is our system to being internet accessible? A small upgrade or a whole new power center?
Any clues would be much appreciated!
