Our Jandy SWCG is starting to fail. Do we have to replace the whole thing or is there a replacement part we can purchase for a cheaper price?

Why are you saying it is starting to fail? What warning lights/errors are you getting?
No warning lights, just low chlorine production despite cleaning it. It's at 50% at the moment and barely keeping FC above 1.5.

We're in Texas, so I know some of the chlorine can be lost to sunlight, but last year, the highest I had to run it at was 25% when it was going to get heavy use.

What does your water look like?
I would suggest raising your FC to 10 ppm and doing a Overnight Chlorine Loss Test tonight.
SWCG rarely slow down in FC production, they either make it or they do not. I suspect you have algae.
