Is this normal?

For the past few years my pool has lost 20 ppm of CYA annually.

No rain over flow or splash out occurs.

Some how I got the idea that CYA didn't leave once it was in?

I have three pools all in the same basic area... All three of them do the same thing... All three pools are saltwater pools that I run with a CYA of 70 to 80... over the winter the CYA will drop to 30 or 40.. they have done the same thing for at least the past 4 years...
