I'm having a high CYA issue (109), but it's summer in Arizona and temps are mostly over 100 degrees. So, I need to replace part of my pool water, but draining can be damaging. I've purchased a submersible pump, so I can remove the water, but I'm wondering if CYA is evenly mixed in the pool, top to bottom? If not, I can target removing water at the bottom, while replacing water nearer the top. That way, I don't leave water levels too low, while still removing CYA containing water. Thanks for feedback!

CYA stays well mixed in the water column.

I'm a bit confused. Your last post said your CYA was 300+. How did it drop so quickly?
