Is 8 gallon of 12.5% shock enough for 30000 gallon pool?

I’m a little confused on the math. I just added 8 gallons of 12.5% shock. Should I add more? Just opened up the pool so it has 0 FC.

First and foremost...........WELCOME TO TFP! A key to remember is SLAMMING a pool isn't a one time thing, it's a process that lasts until completion. Watch this quick video as I suspect you're just a hair off.....
