Intex Model 8111 SWG not pumping.

Hi,
I have a Intex model 8111. It’s the filter pump and SWG all in one unit. I just hooked it up yesterday. I turned it on and the pump is not pumping water. The green pump light is on and it’s humming but not pumping/flowing. I have water going to it. I bleed the air out.

What can I check?

Make sure any valves are open appropriately.

Otherwise, I do not know much about the Intex systems. Does the motor have a start capacitor?

It might have a capacitor. I'm reading up on it. I'll check some more stuff tonight.

It just hums when you turn it on. No pumping.

Did you ever figure it out? We have the same issue. Tried to replace the capacitor and now we don’t even get the humming!

Pull the impeller cover/volute and give the impeller a spin by hand, then plug it in and try it before reassembling it, if it runs then reassemble and reconnect it and try it again.
