I doubt it was sulfuric acid. Being sprayed with 35% H2SO4 would cause massive skin burns, blindness and lethal injuries. It was probably muriatic acid and I’m sure it was diluted. Honestly, I did not see any major injuries reported so it was likely just an overdose by the chemical pumps and the HAZMAT guys do what HAZMAT guys do best - overreact. It’s all good though, when in doubt, hose everyone down with ice cold water at 100psi and 50GPM flow rate.
