My pump has run great for 5 years. All of a sudden its dead. There is power but even the display panel is blank and not lit. Any ideas. Please explain like I'm 5 years old. Thank you

It sounds to me like the LCD in your pump has gone bad. Or, worse yet, the control head has gone dead.
You can buy a new control head but they cost about half of what a new pump costs.
I have seen a thread or two about replacing the Display, but it does not sound to me like you are that kind of guy..
If the display is dead, how do you know there is power? If you used a voltmeter, did you test between L1 and L2 or did you test between L1 and ground and L2 and ground?
Is your IntelliFlo, as standalone pump or is it being controlled by a Pentair Automation system?
