Thanks so much for the feedback. Sorry about the PM, as I’m new to this forum and I’m not sure exactly how posts work.

Okay, here we go. I ran the test mentioned above and the lights didn’t change. All green (see picture) so I’m not sure why I’m not generating chlorine.
I have all Pentair filter and pump parts. Superflow High Perfirmace pump (variable I’m guessing?). Do you think the white curly wire is connected into the correct fitting? Would this affect the salt generators ability to communicate with the system?

Welcome to TFP :)

It is saying 0 salt.... What is the PPM of the salt in the pool? How may bags did you put in and what PPM are you going to?

Welcome to the forum.

The Intellichlor itself is all green and generating chlorine.

The Easytouch ppm readout is know to go to Zero. It does not effect the generation of chlorine. There have been many things changed to resolve it. If under warranty, call Pentair. If not, ignore it. Get a proper salinity test kit. K1766 at TFTestkits.net.

We just installed a brand new IC 40 Intellichlor to our EasyTouch system. All lights are green, had the water tested and zero chlorine is being generated. It’s been running for a week and the diagnostics read,”0 salt”. What could possibly be going on here. I do have a random wire that was somehow disconnected from the GCFI box and when I reinserted where I thought it belonged it tripped the System. Please help. I’m so frustrated and have very little knowledge of the system.

Did you add salt? You probably know this but I didn’t know much until I found this site so just making sure based on how you state your question seems like you thought it generated salt. The salt system uses salt you add to create chlorine, it doesn’t create the salt. Did you add the recommended bags of salt based on how many gallons of water your pool is? I have a ic40 and a 15,000 gallon pool and I had to add about 9 bags of salt to get my salt levels up to their required 3600 ppm.
