Intellicenter and numerous lights

Hi all,

I’m building a new pool and have some questions regarding the intellicenter and controlling the numerous lights I’ll have in the pool.

(2) Pentair 5G main pool lights
(2) Pentair globrites in bubblers
(1) Pentair globrite in spa

I don’t necessarily want to control each light independently but I would like to control the color of the lights of the bubblers individually from the main pool lights. Is that possible? And if so, do I need any extra equipment for it?

Jorge,

You will need one relay and one transformer for ALL the lights you want to control together.. This means they will all be the same color at the same time. This assumes the transformer has the wattage to run all the lights.

You will need one relay and one transformer for EACH of the lights you want to control independently..

So assuming I want to control the 2 main pool lights together, the 2 bubblers together, and the spa light separately, I would need 3 relays and 3 transformers, correct?

Excuse my ignorance here, but do the relays & transformers come with the lights? or do I have to buy those separately? Is it any relay and/or transformer or specific ones?
